Why Securing the Mexican Border is a National Security Crisis.

Immigration continues to be a major issue currently in U.S. politics and rightfully so. President Bush and other Senators have offered what they call a comprehensive reform of the current immigration laws. One of the provisions is a new tamper proof id card that will ensure illegal aliens are exactly who they claim to be.

DO NOT BE FOOLED!

This President is not tough on immigration like he claims. The Bush's administration approved the use of an Mexican issued "Matricula Consular" id card for illegals in America back after the wake of 9/11.

Why? Because the money that open-border banks make off these illegals.

This may seem easily answerable but the recent Washington Times article shows us why this is not just a made up National Security Crisis.

The Department of Homeland Security allowed a man to enter its headquarters last week using a fake Matricula Consular card as identification, despite federal rules that say the Mexican-issued card is not valid ID at government buildings.
Bruce DeCell, a retired New York City police officer, used his phony card -- which lists his place of birth as "Tijuana, B.C." and his address as "123 Fraud Blvd." on an incorrectly spelled "Staton Island, N.Y." -- to enter the building Wednesday for a meeting with DHS officials.
Mr. DeCell said he has had the card for four years and has used it again and again to board airliners and enter government buildings, without being turned down once. But he said he was surprised that DHS, the agency in charge of determining secure IDs, accepted it.
"Obviously, it's not working," Mr. DeCell said.
The Mexican government has issued millions of Matricula Consular cards in the past few years, mostly to give illegal aliens a form of identification that banks and other institutions will accept.

Why is America accepting Mexican issued id cards for people illegal in our country?

Imagine if this was a terrorist. Is that easy for an illegal alien to walk into our government buildings? Let alone the one that's sole purpose is to protect our homeland.
